God's Mandate:

Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. Joshua 10:12-14

In October of 2008, while Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne was preaching, the Lord spoke and said, “Tell the Church to speak to the sun. Tell the sun not to set just yet, for the sun is fast setting on the horizon of time. Just like Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stand still, and it did. So the church will speak to the sun. I do not say, I will grant one more day, for there is not a day left, but I will give you one more hour of daylight and then the sun will set forever".

Jesus is coming back soon. We are living in the last of the last days. Every believer must be awakened, as there is a work that must be done. Not one believer is to be unused. This is not an hour for the believers of Jesus Christ to run and hide. This is an hour to occupy till He comes. Every believer must find their purpose and fulfill all that the LORD has called them to do.

Do you have Heaven's perspective on life, or do you have the world's perspective? Each day, we must take hold of Heaven’s point of view. This world is not our home; we are just passing through. Heaven is our home. Our life comes from Christ. Our joy comes from above. Our sustenance comes from Him. We must transfer our allegiance to Heaven. If we hold dear and cling to the things of this world, then the more that this world is shaken, the more that we will be shaken. We must anchor ourselves to Eternity; live for Eternity.

Our hearts are to be fixed and established on Christ. He graces us and equips us to accomplish His plans and purposes. Daily, we must pick up our cross and follow Him. The resolve in the heart of the believer must be that we do not belong to ourselves; we are not our own. We were bought with a price. Mark 8:35 declares, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.”

Seated in High Places:

Right now, if we are born again, washed in the blood Jesus, and sealed by the Holy Spirit, then we are raised together with Christ. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ and all things are under our feet! We are no longer children of disobedience! That spirit used to work in us - but no more - we have been raised up to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Paul’s prayer for us in Ephesians 1:17-19 KJV was this: “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe.”

Not only are we seated in heavenly places right now, but Father God wants us to know all the great things He has done for us and prepared for us. Many Christians do not live and walk in the victory they actually have in Christ because they don’t know what God’s word says about it. There is a higher realm you can and should be operating in.
