In Haggai 2:7 and 8 we read that “the desire of all nations shall come; and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.” In this book, Dr. Howard-Browne shares insights on this passage of scripture, pointing out that the Word is speaking prophetically in two areas:
Pertaining to the coming of Jesus — This was fulfilled when the wise men brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh, gifts from king to a King. We notice that when they came to worship Him, they brought gifts.
Pertaining to the church — The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just and in these last days, finances are going to be released into the hands of the church so the gospel can be proclaimed without hindrances.
This book will challenge you to come and worship Him with your gifts as well as with your lips. Your heart will be where your treasure is.
